Located in Spring Mills, Pennsylvania, Spring Mills Manufacturing, Inc. was incorporated in October, 2012 and purchased the rights to manufacture the Gettig Tape and Labeling Systems in December, 2012. As the exclusive manufacturer of the Gettig Spot Taping and Labeling Systems, we are a leading company providing innovative, proprietary and patented techniques for products and services. The majority of our offerings consist of custom tape and labeling equipment to be used in applying pressure sensitive tapes and labels. They include the Gettig 7600 Bench Model Economy Legend Entry Labeling System, the Gettig Semi-Automatic Spot Taping Systems, an assortment of pressure sensitive tapes, and push to mount wire harness clips for the industrial markets.
Our labeling systems utilize a semi-automatic labeling mechanism and are capable of up to 600 applications per hour. Software comes with each machine, allowing customer to create labels with company names, parts numbers, date codes, or other pertinent information. Our labels have been proven against a myriad of chemicals including brake fluid, antifreeze, motor oil, salt water and in temperatures from -40°C to 150°C. Wires, cable, and hydraulic hoses between 0.050" and 1.5" can be labeled using this UL approved system.
Simply put, no system can beat the efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness of our labeling system. Systems can be customized for specific applications, including integration into existing in-line cutting systems. With our labeling systems, you are capable of up to 600 applications per hour. Labels are printed on paper or polypropylene roll stock. The labels are wrapped with an over-laminate material consisting of polyester with an acrylic or silicone adhesive.
